SEN Teacher

SEN Teacher | Aylesbury, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are partnering with a highly reputable organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. We believe in providing tailored educational support that empowers vulnerable learners to reach their full potential.

The Role

• Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils across KS1 - KS5 with planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Work in person, remotely, or through a hybrid model to meet student needs.
• Plan and report on lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to a mission of raising the standard of education for young people with diverse learning difficulties.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and professional references.
• Right to work in the UK.
