SEN / SEND Tutor | Chichester, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 with planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
• Work within the community to raise the standard of education for vulnerable learners.
• Engage with schools and local authorities to provide tailored educational support.

What You'll Need

• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS check and 2+ professional references (DBS can be facilitated).
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Based in the UK with the right to work.
