Sr. UAT Tester with Banking experience

Job Title: Sr. UAT Tester with Banking experience

Location: Reston, VA (onsite)

Duration: 6-12+ months contract

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software testing/UAT experience, with significant experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong hands-on experience leading UAT testing and business acceptance activities.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and QA methodologies.
• Experience creating UAT strategies, test plans, scenarios, scripts, and execution reports.
• Strong knowledge of banking and financial services business processes.
• Experience with end-to-end testing of enterprise applications and integrated systems.
• Strong experience with JIRA, HP ALM, Rally, or similar defect/test management tools.
• Experience with SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Good understanding of APIs and system integrations.
• Strong defect management, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple testing activities and deliver within tight project timelines.

Educational Qualifications:

• Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
• Preferred - Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.

Travel:

·   Open to travel based up on the nature of the engagement.
