Technical Support Specialist IAT I

The Technical Support Specialist IAT I provides on-site workstation, telecommunications, and financial systems support for Air Force users at Langley AFB. Working within governance and security requirements, this role installs and configures PCs and peripherals, applies patches, troubleshoots issues, and administers AF financial applications such as ABSS, DEAMS, and DTS. The specialist also manages SharePoint content, supports equipment accountability, and coordinates with network and financial system teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain user workstations, peripherals, and printers in compliance with Air Force governance.
• Apply patches and configuration updates to ensure workstation security and reliability.
• Administer and troubleshoot AF financial applications including ABSS, DEAMS, DTS, and IAPS.
• Serve as Information Assurance Officer for Comptroller units, supporting IAT Level I requirements.
• Manage SharePoint and portal content to support collaboration and financial system continuity.
• Monitor and report network and telecommunications issues, including Vo
• IP, VTC, and mobile devices.
• Maintain IT equipment and printer consumables inventory and act as Equipment Custodian/TCO.
• Support development of continuity procedures and documentation using Microsoft Office tools.
