Job Description:

• Seeking candidates with 11 to 15 years of expertise in Java, Kafka, and Spring Boot to design and develop scalable backend services using Next.js, Java, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Design and develop robust backend services using Java and Java Spring Boot, ensuring high scalability and maintainability.
• Implement and manage distributed messaging systems leveraging Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices to support seamless integration with frontend applications and third-party services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions within the NextJs, Java, and Google Cloud Platform technology stack. Optimise application performance and ensure efficient resource utilization on Google Cloud Platform Google Cloud Platform.
• Maintain code quality by following best practices, conducting thorough code reviews and documenting technical specifications.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance backend architectures and development processes.
• Lead the design and implementation of backend components using Java, Kafka and Spring Boot, adhering to architectural standards.
• Mentor and guide development teams on best practices related to Java and distributed messaging systems.
• Collaborate with solution architects, product owners and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and continuous integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development, testing and production environments.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, coding guidelines and regulatory requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Drive automation of build, testing, and deployment pipelines leveraging cloud native tools on Google Cloud Platform.
• Participate in performance tuning and capacity planning to meet service level objectives and availability targets.
