Angular UI/UX Developer

Job Summary (List Format): Angular UI/UX Developer Contractor

- Location: Jersey City, NJ / Charlotte, NC (Hybrid; 3 days onsite per week)
- Duration: 12-18 months contract
- Team: Small, highly skilled technology team within the ERFT division
- Primary Focus:
- Design and deliver modern, responsive, and intuitive web applications and dashboards
- Support Treasury and Regulatory Reporting functions
- Enable business users to manage liquidity, analytics, reporting, and operations
- Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Angular-based web applications
- Collaborate with business users, product owners, and developers to gather and implement requirements
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive designs for improved user experience
- Develop reusable UI components and maintain design systems
- Integrate applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and backend microservices
- Optimize performance, accessibility, and usability across devices/browsers
- Troubleshoot, debug, test, and enhance existing applications
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and processes
- Ensure alignment with enterprise security and coding standards
- Maintain and improve code quality through refactoring and code reviews
- Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular (v12+) and modern UI frameworks (e.g., Angular Material)
- Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive design
- Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Experience with wireframing/prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.)
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices
- Knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques
- Experience building data-driven dashboards and visualization interfaces
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work closely with business stakeholders and rapidly prototype solutions
- Familiarity with state management (NgRx, Signals, RxJS, etc.) and Git-based workflows
- Desired Skills:
- Experience in Treasury, Risk, Regulatory Reporting, or Financial Services
- Experience with dashboard/reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Highcharts, D3.js, Chart.js, ECharts)
- Familiarity with workflow-driven and data governance applications
- Experience building design systems and enterprise component libraries
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-hosted solutions
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and large-scale enterprise applications
- Familiarity with Treasury and Liquidity Reporting frameworks (LCR, NSFR, FR2052a, etc.)
