Job Description

Physical Therapist

A Full-Time PT Opening in Tamarac

We are hiring a licensed Physical Therapist for an orthopedic outpatient office in Tamarac, Florida.

This position is designed for someone who already understands outpatient care and can confidently manage evaluations, treatment sessions, reassessments, and clinical documentation.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $85K–$90K per year, depending on experience
Patient Expectations: Approximately 1–2 patients per hour

About the Work

Your caseload may include patients with joint injuries, post-operative restrictions, muscle weakness, reduced mobility, or musculoskeletal pain.

The goal is to identify what is limiting the patient physically and determine the appropriate next step in treatment. As patients improve, you will decide when to increase activity, introduce new exercises, or prepare them for independent management.

Key Duties

  • Review patient history and current physical concerns
  • Conduct orthopedic and functional examinations
  • Identify treatment priorities based on objective findings
  • Establish and manage individualized plans of care
  • Provide progressive exercise-based rehabilitation
  • Incorporate manual interventions when appropriate
  • Compare patient progress with established goals
  • Revise treatment strategies when clinically necessary
  • Explain exercise and recovery recommendations clearly
  • Complete evaluations, progress reports, and discharge notes
  • Current Physical Therapist License
  • DPT Degree or MSPT Degree
  • Outpatient physical therapy experience required
  • Experience with orthopedic rehabilitation
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills
