We're hiring on behalf of a leading non-profit senior living provider with over 40 years of success. The Role

• Collaborate with finance and accounting directors to ensure accurate and timely recording of journal entries and other transactions.
• Serve as an initial resource for accounting team members, providing guidance on transaction recording and policies.
• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks and cover for absent or transitioning community accountants.
• Prepare daily cash account reconciliations.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Identify, resolve, and prevent future issues by recommending improved processes and controls.
• Assist in the preparation of month-end, quarterly, and annual reports, including consolidations.
• Support budget, forecasting, and audit processes as needed.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of five years of accounting experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• Solid understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
