Surgical Technologist L&D

• Location: Milwaukee, WI
• Facility: Saint Joseph's Hospital
• Department: Labor and Delivery
• Schedule: Night shift | Full-time

• Prepares surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.
• Hands required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Maintains instruments in an organized manner and monitors and tracks instruments counts throughout procedures.
• Assists surgeons provision of hemostasis during surgery.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • None Required.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Approved Local Exception. Approved for local use in NY for local addition of LPN. All other ministries must seek approval to use Approved Local Exception.
  • BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
