Job Description

Salesforce Platform Administrator II

Remote (TN based candidates preferred)

Long-term, ongoing contract

Compensation: $60 - $70 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a Salesforce Platform Administrator II to provide advanced system administration and platform support across a large, enterprise Salesforce environment. This ongoing, long-term contract role is responsible for user setup and security, platform administration, and implementing small to medium-sized enhancements across multiple Salesforce orgs, including Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and Sales Cloud. The Administrator II ensures all configuration and platform activities align with established governance processes, security standards, and best practices. You will partner closely with business stakeholders, vendor teams, and internal Salesforce owners to maintain stable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions. Experience supporting enterprise, multi-org Salesforce environments is preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Provide daily Salesforce administrative support, including user provisioning, profile and permission management, and security configuration
  • Implement small to medium-sized enhancements such as page layouts, Flows, process automation, and minor data model updates
  • Monitor and maintain data quality through duplicate prevention, validation rules, and data hygiene activities
  • Support functionality across Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and Sales Cloud
  • Troubleshoot user issues and escalate complex technical concerns as needed
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Salesforce configuration solutions
  • Assist with release management, including sandbox preparation, testing coordination, and deployment support
  • Ensure compliance with platform security, governance, documentation, and audit requirements
  • Collaborate with vendor partners and internal Salesforce teams to maintain consistency across multiple orgs
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards based on business needs
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases and recommend platform improvements
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of three years of professional Salesforce Administration experience
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator required
  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (Administrator II) certification required or must be obtained within established timeframe
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce administration, including user management, security, object configuration, Flows, and automation
  • Experience with Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and Sales Cloud
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a multi-org Salesforce environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative delivery
  • Knowledge of Salesforce reporting and data management best practices
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams
  • Experience supporting enterprise or multi-org Salesforce environments preferred
