Operational Payroll Analyst (Workday)

Location: Tampa, FL

Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension

Schedule: Onsite preferred; strong hybrid candidates may be considered

Engagement: Contract

We are seeking experienced Operational Payroll Analysts with Workday experience to join our healthcare client's Payroll team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned payroll professional who brings deep, hands-on experience working in Workday Payroll and understands how the system supports payroll operations behind the scenes.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate has substantial, hands-on experience using Workday Payroll in a production environment and can confidently navigate both payroll operations and the Workday platform.

Key Qualifications

• Hands-on Workday Payroll experience
• Experience processing payroll using Workday
• Understanding of Workday Payroll functionality and processes
• Ability to troubleshoot and understand how Workday Payroll operates behind the scenes
• Experience with payroll operations, including tax-related processes
• Background supporting Workday implementations, configuration, or backend processes is highly valued
• Experience working in a complex healthcare or enterprise environment is a plus
• UKG Pro experience is a plus

Candidates whose background is primarily traditional payroll, with only limited exposure to Workday because their organization used the platform, will not be the best fit.
