Location: Fort McNair, DC Clearance:
- Minimum of Active Top-Secret Clearance required Job Duties • Experience as a Network Architect/Network SME, designing and implementing network solutions for various applications
- The Network Engineering Lead will lead a team of engineers in designing and implementing network solutions for various applications
- Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, focusing on security and access control.
- Integrate Cisco ISE with Active Directory, RADIUS, and other network systems.
- Develop and implement network security policies, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- They will be responsible for defining technical requirements, developing network architectures, and ensuring that the team delivers high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients
- They will also be responsible for providing technical guidance and mentorship to fellow engineering RPRC team members and for continuously improving the team's processes and tools
- Lead the design and implementation of network solutions, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and other network technologies.
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to define technical requirements, develop network architectures, and identify risks and mitigation strategies.
- Develop detailed network design documentation, including diagrams, technical specifications, and test plans.
- Lead the implementation and deployment of the network architecture, ensuring that the solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on the implementation of the network architecture, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting processes.
- Participate in solution reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure that the solutions meet quality standards.
- Ensure that the team delivers high-quality network solutions that meet the needs of our clients and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Experience with network technologies like LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewalls.
- Experience with network security technologies, such as IPSec, SSL, and firewall rules.
- Demonstrated knowledge of network architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and mitigate technical risks.
