Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd (Job ID: ) is looking for an Associate Solutions Architect to join our Solutions Architecture team. If you are interested in cloud computing and helping customers build on AWS, we have a role that might be a great fit for you.

The AWS Solutions Architecture team is dedicated to working with customers as they build and grow their businesses on AWS. We're here to make sure they can deploy the best, most scalable, and most secure architectures possible - and spend as little time and money as possible doing so.

Key job responsibilities: We are looking for technical builders who love the idea of working with customers to help them succeed. In this role, you'll work directly with a variety of interesting customers and help them make the best (and sometimes the most pragmatic) technical decisions along the way. You'll have a chance to build enduring relationships with these companies and establish yourself as a trusted advisor.

As well as spending time working directly with customers, you'll also spend plenty of time sharpening your skills. You will help customers take advantage of our 175+ services across a range of categories and act as an advocate with our product teams to ensure we build the right products for the customers you work with. For customers you don't work with one on one, you will have the opportunity to share knowledge more broadly through technical content and event presentations.

About the team: AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small and mid market accounts to enterprise level customers including the public sector.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++
• Experience with two or more of the following: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, or Windows)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing a cloud based technology solution
• Experience in any of the following: Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering or DevOps
