Personnel Security Specialist Location: Arlington, VA (Rosslyn)
Work Type: Full-Time / Onsite

Job Description Processes and maintains company and government inspectable records and procedures for employees to obtain and maintain government security clearances or positions of trust. Applies advanced advisory skills or extensive technical expertise with full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction and mentors and may supervise team members. Qualifications 5+ years of experience leading a security officer or acting independently as a personnel security officer Knowledge of reporting systems such as the Joint Access Database Environment Ability to track, receive, and send personnel security clearances through the appropriate DoW systems Ability to manage polygraph requests and validate polygraph status Ability to manage the Personnel Access Request and Personnel Security Questionnaire processes for access authorization and maintenance TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree Nice To Have Qualifications 10+ years of experience as a personnel security specialist Experience managing Special Access clearances within the DoW or Intelligence Community Ability to operate independently and to clearly and professionally communicate with external stakeholders Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $90,000 - $160,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
