Job description

Renewal by Andersen is the custom division of Andersen Windows. Founded in 1903, Andersen Windows has been the world’s largest and most recognized brand for exclusive window and door systems. Renewal by Andersen was founded with the objective of creating a different and better window and door replacement experience for homeowners.

We are looking to expand our financial services team by adding a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate who is looking to get into a stable industry, join a great team environment, and have opportunities for training and advancement.

A successful candidate thrives in a team environment, while being a resourceful, independent, self -starter who can work effectively with minimal direction. This position is heavy on data entry and requires speed, accuracy, and strong attention to detail. You will handle high daily volumes of payments, invoices, and project documentation for the accounting team, with the following responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:
-    Process daily customer payments received by cash, check, credit card, and loan funding, and apply them to the correct accounts in the accounting system and Salesforce.
-    Prepare and balance cash and check deposits, and reconcile daily payment batches, credit card activity, and loan funding to bank and merchant records. Research and resolve any discrepancies.
-    Process customer refunds and post them in Salesforce.
-    Post vendor invoices and enter customer invoices in the accounting system.
-    Prepare and review project close-out packets daily, verifying that all paperwork is accurate and complete before the project is closed.
-    Other similar tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
-    Excel proficiency including basic formulas is required
-    Ability to follow instructions and work independently
-    Ability to enter data proficiently and accurately with attention to detail
-    Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central and Salesforce a plus
-    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field


Compensation and Benefits:
-    $28.85/hr
-    Full insurance package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
-    401(K) with company match percentage

Schedule:
-    Onsite in our Farmingdale office
-    Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
