Mobile / Network Test Engineer

Position: Mobile / Network Test Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA
Work Type: Onsite – 5 days/week

Job Requirements

• Hands-on experience testing Android and iOS smartphones/tablets across different OEM devices.
• Strong experience in networking and/or telecom testing.
• Knowledge of:
• APN configuration
• Band locking
• NV changes
• Network troubleshooting
• Device/network log analysis
• Experience with network performance validation, signal testing, and connectivity testing.
• Hands-on experience configuring mobile devices and installing:
• Software/firmware builds
• Applications
• Test packages
• Ability to execute test cases, follow defined test procedures, and accurately document test results.
• Experience identifying and validating issues related to:
• Application behavior
• UI responsiveness
• Application/device crashes
• Battery consumption
• Device performance
• Overall device stability
• Experience collecting device logs and creating clear, detailed defect reports for engineering teams.
• Exposure to test automation is an added advantage.
