Quick Overview
Job Description
With eight design studios spread around the world, chances are you’ve seen our work before.
We work across architecture, landscape architecture, interior design and urban design - a rich multi-disciplinary mix of skills and perspectives that unlocks the economic, social and cultural value of projects.
We combine our creative design expertise with capabilities in strategy, research, technology and experience design, and we regularly collaborate with experts and partners from further afield.
Through our work, we're trying to build a more inclusive, sustainable future for communities - and create a more socially and ecologically resilient world.
Join our Brisbane studio and help coordinate the information that keeps a major public architecture project on track. You'll connect our project team, external consultants and the client, making sure the right people receive the right information at the right time.
This is a hands-on delivery and coordination role rather than a conceptual design position. You'll bring structure to information requests, track key inputs and help the team maintain momentum against the project programme.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate information exchange between Hassell, consultants and the client group.
- Track required inputs, deadlines, outstanding actions and programme dependencies.
- Follow up with stakeholders so teams have the information needed to progress their work.
- Help project leaders identify information gaps and emerging risks to delivery.
- Bring clarity to multidisciplinary coordination and stakeholder expectations.
- Experience delivering complex built-environment projects from a developer, contractor or design firm.
- A relevant built-environment degree and an understanding of consultant coordination.
- Strong organisation, communication and follow-through across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience managing client relationships, information requirements and delivery deadlines.
- A background in project management or design management; you do not need to be an architect.
A design background would be useful, but it is not essential. We are not looking for expertise in a particular software platform.
The opportunity
You'll work with a multidisciplinary team on a significant public project, making a practical contribution to its successful delivery. This is intended as a fixed-term appointment of approximately 12 months, with the project team currently targeting completion at the end of 2027.
Our team enjoys a wide range of benefits to support their development and well-being:
- Paid parental leave for both primary and secondary carers.
- Purchased leave policy
- A progressive flexible work policy that allows hybrid work, location flexibility and work pattern flexibility.
- Inter-studio transfer opportunities. Wellbeing benefits.
- Development and training opportunities, including access to online training programs and our People Coach program.
- Study assistance.

Our local studios serve as primary hubs for in-person connection and collaboration, and we offer flexible and hybrid work arrangements. Hassell encourages sustainable work hours and actively supports the holistic health and well-being of our people.
We're a fast-paced and proactive practice, so we don't wait until applications close to review them.
