Job Title: Test Automation Engineer Automotive Software

Location: Remote / Hybrid / Onsite
Job Type: Contract / Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for Automotive Software and Android Automotive OS (AAOS) platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in test automation, software validation, continuous integration, and automotive testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of infotainment, telematics, and connected vehicle applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for automotive software applications.
  • Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
  • Validate Android Automotive OS (AAOS), infotainment, telematics, and connected vehicle applications.
  • Develop automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and programming languages.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, architects, and product teams to define test strategies and improve software quality.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Perform API, UI, backend, and performance testing.
  • Maintain test documentation, test cases, and automation reports.
  • Improve test coverage and reduce manual testing through automation.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and release validation.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
  • Strong experience in automation framework development.
  • Experience testing embedded systems, Android applications, or automotive software.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or C++.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD and automated testing tools.
  • Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
