Locations: San Ramon, CA 

Contract - Initial 3 months with possible extension

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer with strong expertise in AngularJS, JavaScript, and SQL to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building responsive, high-performance web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering scalable solutions that enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using AngularJS and JavaScript.
• Develop reusable UI components and ensure consistent user experience across browsers and devices.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data retrieval, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product owners, and backend developers to implement application features.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work in Agile/Scrum development environments and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in front-end web application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with AngularJS (1.x).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing relational databases.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience migrating AngularJS applications to modern Angular versions is a plus.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, Bootstrap, or other UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine or Karma.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
