Junior IT Administrator (IAM) - Merrifield, VA - Contract - $59-69 Per HR

Description

The role involves managing identity systems and technologies in a remote setting on a contract basis. Responsibilities include operational administration, incident resolution, and consultation on identity and access management (IAM) solutions. The candidate will work with various identity technologies, ensuring security and integrity across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and provision service principal names and enterprise applications.
  • Review new application requests against IAM best practices.
  • Field IAM consultation requests and provide analytical support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve identity synchronization and authentication issues.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security principles.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT operations or technical support.
  • Working knowledge of directory services and authentication basics.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with end users.
  • Ability to follow procedures and workflows accurately.
