Your TeamThe Risk Transformation team is part of CFS's Legal, Governance, Risk and Compliance Business Unit which is accountable for analysis and strategic advisory, oversight and respectful challenge of the business along with driving the commercial application of the Risk Management Policy, tools, processes and systems.
This role can be based either Sydney or Melbourne. We are recruiting for multiple 12 Month Max term positions.
Your Responsibilities- Contributes to the successful delivery and ongoing evolution of CFS's Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) capability.
- Helps transform manual control activities into automated, data-driven monitoring solutions that improve efficiency, scalability and control effectiveness.
- Supports stronger risk management outcomes through improved transparency, earlier identification of control issues and increased control coverage.
- Applies data, automation and AI-enabled capabilities to simplify processes, improve monitoring outcomes and reduce manual effort across the control environment.
- Collaborates across business, risk and technology teams to deliver practical solutions that provide measurable business value.
- Contributes to a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and innovation.
- Gather and document business, process and data requirements.
- Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for automation and continuous monitoring.
- Support the design, configuration and implementation of CCM solutions.
- Assist in the development of solutions using technologies such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Python and Databricks.
- Proven experience in technology, data, automation, business analysis, risk, project delivery or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and develop practical solutions.
- Demonstrated interest in technology, automation, AI and data-driven solutions.
- Experience working with data, process improvement, automation, software development, testing or related delivery activities.
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and/or Power Automate), Python, Databricks, SQL or similar technologies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business, risk and technology teams.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Curious, proactive and growth-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and apply new technologies and ways of working.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Risk Management or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
