They are seeking a driven Senior Systems Administrator to join their mission-critical IT operations team. The Role • Lead systems administration for both Linux and Windows-based systems within secure, mission-critical infrastructure. • Architect, manage, and optimize complex server, storage, and virtualization environments (VMware, KVM). • Ensure system integrity through OS installation, configuration, hardening, and patching in compliance with security standards. • Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. • Support robust backup, disaster recovery, and continuity of operations strategies. • Oversee and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure as code for system management. What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 8-12 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Active Top Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph. • DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CASP+, CISSP). • Proven experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server administration. • Proficiency in virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM) and automation/scripting (Ansible, Bash, PowerShell). • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government) and supporting classified environments.
