PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Product Security Engineering 4, in Oklahoma City, OK. Job ID#225055 Job Description: Seeking innovative engineers to lead the software architecture and development efforts for key computing assets embedded in the most advanced defense platforms. Successful candidates for this role will lead the development and maintenance of hardware and software-based product security solutions for the protection of critical military information and technology.
Position Responsibilities: Supports the development of documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems Support and be accountable to program engineering leads in day-to-day task activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns. Highly motivated and exhibit strong written and verbal communication, inter-personal, and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi-site and multi-discipline program and environment.
This position requires that you work on-site out of Oklahoma City, OK and a willingness to travel up to 10% of the time as required. This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance Post-Start for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Must be eligible and willing to obtain additional security clearances.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 5+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. 2+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java Ability to develop code for usability, readability, and maintainability. oExperience in Ada coding for safety critical systems oExperience with embedded software in C/C++
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 9+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. 5+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java 1+ years of experience with lifecycle configuration management tools (GitLab) & utilizing Agile tools (Jira) Experience in technical leadership with collaboration across multiple teams and locations in a fast-paced environment Experience working in a DevSecOps environment Experience with cryptography and other security protocols Working knowledge in the field of cyber security, secure computing and/or anti-tamper oExperience in Python in automation oExperience in unit testing oKnowledge in cryptography oActive security clearance Education / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g.
Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).
