We are looking for Powerbuilder/.Net Developer for our client in Richmond, VA

Job Title: Powerbuilder/.Net Developer

Job Location: Richmond, VA

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $80.00hr - $85.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 4+ years of experience with PowerBuilder/Infomaker.
  • 5+ years of experience with Web Site Maintenance (Asp.net, MVC, Web forms, Blazor).
  • 5+ years of experience with Visual Studio.
  • 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript.
  • 1+ years of experience with WEB API Maintenance (C#, EF, LINQ).
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle/SQL Server.
  • 5+ years of experience and proficiency with Microsoft, Visio, SharePoint and Office applications.
  • 5+ years of proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and as a team.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed.
  • Must physically reside within the US for the duration of the assignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as backup support on the Banking application.
  • Assists with translating formal requirements documentation into database and program solutions.
  • Complies with all system development policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, including coding standards and reviews.
  • Fully documents work performed and provides technology turnover on all work performed to other staff.
  • Performs complex system administration, maintenance and support for production systems.
  • Develops and maintains technical documentation.
  • Supports the FIIS application written in PowerBuilder and provides support to other applications written in .Net.
  • Responds to system alerts and user events, makes recommendations, and documents findings.
  • Designs, develops, modifies, tests, debugs, and implements programs and systems.
  • Develops and maintains standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
  • Performs related work as required.

Nice to Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Azure Devops or Team Foundation Server.
  • 3+ years of experience with Client Server (EXE) application maintenance (C#/VB.NET, Entity Framework, ORACLE).
