Job Summary:  

The Accounting Intern is an onsite position that provides hands-on experience in various areas of accounting. This role will assist with daily accounting operations, financial reporting, account reconciliations, A/P processing, and special projects. The intern will gain exposure to corporate accounting functions and work closely with accounting professionals to develop practical accounting skills while supporting the department's objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities.
  • Prepare and maintain account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
  • Assist with accounts payable.
  • Process and analyze financial reports.
  • Record routine journal entries.
  • Assist with budget upload into system.   
  • Assist with audit and compliance-related projects as assigned.
  • Assist the Accounting team with various administrative and accounting tasks as needed.

Job Specifications:

Minimum Education/Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Aptitude for learning new software programs and other applicable technology.

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
