Position Description: CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to lead the design and development of complex software applications. Your future duties and responsibilities: Help lead the transformation of existing application and design new application for modernized interface and architecture. Interact with systems experts, developers and programmers on design and execution of migration from current platform to cloud based platform. Attend customer meetings as requested and serves as primary liaison for technical based solutions.
Design, develop and maintain enterprise solutions within Dynamics 365 CRM and the Microsoft Power Platform Configure custom entities, forms, views, business rules, workflows and CRM security models Develop CRM plugins, JavaScript web resources and custom business logic using C#, JavaScript and the Dynamics CRM SDK Build and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to support business process automation Develop and enhance custom applications using .NET, ASP.NET, Web API, C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and related technologies Integrate Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform solutions with external systems using REST APIs, OData, JSON, XML and web services Support SQL Server database development, including stored procedures, views, triggers, data queries and reporting support Assist with data migration, system modernization and application enhancement initiatives Support automated notifications, workflow processes and system triggered business logic Troubleshoot application issues, support production systems and implement enhancements based on user and stakeholder needs Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimation and status updates Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements, document technical solutions and deliver high quality software Required qualifications to be successful in this role: 10+ years of experience in the IT services or development field.
Experience supporting IT application migration and development projects.
Bachelor's degree or higher in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field. 2 5 years of experience working with a cloud environment Hands on experience developing and supporting Dynamics 365 CRM solutions Experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate Strong development experience with C#, JavaScript, .NET, ASP.NET, Web API or similar Microsoft technologies Experience developing CRM plugins, JavaScript web resources, custom entities, forms, views, workflows and security roles Experience integrating enterprise applications using REST APIs, OData, JSON, XML and related integration methods Strong SQL Server experience, including database development, stored procedures, views, triggers and reporting queries.
Ability to lead projects using the Scrum/Agile framework and methodology. Experience leading teams, able to motivate and engage. Ideally, has experience working in the Federal Government. Desired qualifications/non essential skills required: Familiarity with modern development practices, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies. Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Developer, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus. CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 $218,200.00.
