Infrastructure Application & Database SME - Senior OIM Developer

Location: Fort Belvoir, Virginia (Remote)

Role Overview

Our organization is seeking an Infrastructure Application and Database Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a large-scale Identity & Access Management (IDAM) modernization effort. This role involves the migration and integration of numerous applications into a new enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with federal Oracle Identity products, architecture knowledge, and database security expertise. This position is part of a hands-on engineering team focused on execution, assessment, migration, and integration outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert support, analysis, and research into complex problems and processes relating to the subject matter.
• Serve as a technical expert on project teams, providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives.

* Conduct assessments of applications currently supported within the IDAM environment.* Collaborate with application owners to inventory and evaluate existing authentication structures.* Define and implement appropriate identity integration patterns.* Support workflow integration and migration activities, including SAML-based integrations and efforts into Okta.* Develop specifications, checklists, and migration approaches for various application categories.* Configure and manage attributes, roles, and group structures.* Administer, implement, sustain, and troubleshoot Oracle Database, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Single Sign-On (SSO)/Oracle Access Manager (OAM), and Oracle Identity Manager (OIM).* Contribute to strategic architecture and design decisions for the future environment.Required Qualifications

Experience:

• Seven (7) years of professional experience.
• Experience supporting Federal Oracle Identity products on an OIM, OAM, SOA-based platform (12c or higher).
• Hands-on experience in a federal environment with Oracle Identity product experience, OIG/OIM architecture knowledge, and Oracle database security expertise.
• Ability to analyze dependencies and authentication in an environment moving from Oracle 12c to 14c.

Technical Skills:

• Oracle Database, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Single Sign-On (SSO)/Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Identity Manager (OIM).
• Familiarity with SAML authentication and Okta integration is beneficial.
