Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active admission to practice in Illinois.
  • 3-5 years of litigation experience in a law firm environment.
  • Experience handling asbestos cases on the defense side and commercial litigation matters preferred.
  • Environmental, toxic tort, talc, or other complex liability experience is a plus.
  • Courtroom experience, including motion practice, is preferred.
  • Strong academic credentials and attention to detail.

Desired Skills

  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines effectively.
  • Strategic problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team-oriented environment.

This is an opportunity to join a highly respected litigation practice offering sophisticated insurance defense work, significant responsibility, strong resources, and a collaborative environment. Attorneys benefit from meaningful client interaction, leadership opportunities, and a platform designed to support both professional success and work-life flexibility.

The firm is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace and welcomes qualified candidates from all backgrounds. Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and overall fit for the role.
