Job Description

Cross Domain Systems Engineer, Senior | Kensington, MD, United States | Hybrid We're hiring for a globally recognised professional services firm that supports national security missions through innovative technology solutions. This employer is committed to developing and deploying digital cross-domain solutions that empower customers and advance mission capabilities. The Role • Lead the development and deployment of digital cross-domain solutions for national security clients. • Manage customer engagement to capture, define, and understand user and security requirements. • Decompose hardware, software, interface, and security control requirements. • Coordinate stakeholder activities throughout system development, integration, testing, and deployment. • Support system accreditation using the Risk Management Framework and plan security improvements. • Design and implement cross-domain data flows, define data schemas, and validate data handling policies. What You'll Need • Experience developing requirements, including capability and system-level requirements, user stories, or use cases. • Experience developing technical written deliverables for system delivery or deployment. • Proficiency with online collaboration and work tracking tools such as Jira or Confluence. • Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework and its application to system accreditation. • Ability to plan systems delivery and deployment efforts, including technical plans, schedules, and risk tracking. • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and 5+ years of engineering experience, or 12+ years of engineering experience in lieu of a degree. • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of start date.
