The Role

• Direct and oversee the hospital's accounting system and financial operations, including billing, accounts receivable, cash receipts, collections, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reviews, budgets, and required state financial reports.
• Develop and implement plans to enhance operational efficiency in collaboration with hospital leadership.
• Participate in hospital Governing Body committees and partnership boards as needed.
• Assist in monitoring compliance with Medicare regulations.
• Foster a positive team environment and celebrate accomplishments.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum five years of hospital accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, analysis principles, and managerial skills.
• Proven experience in financial management and operations, including labor management, revenue analysis, and expense management.
• Relevant experience in budgeting, both capital and operational planning.
• Experience in creating and executing a strong internal control environment.
