Role Summary:

Seeking an experienced AS400 / IBM i Developer with strong IBM WebSphere and EDI integration expertise to own, maintain, troubleshoot, and modernize a port and logistics management platform.

Required Skills:

- AS400 / IBM i Development

- RPG / CL Programming and DB2

- IBM WebSphere Middleware

- WebSphere MQ / Integration Bus / B2B EDI

- EDI Mapping, Translation, and Troubleshooting

- Logistics / Transportation EDI Transactions: 210, 214, 301, 310, 322, 850, 856

- REST / SOAP API Integration

- Production Support, Performance Optimization, and Batch Job Troubleshooting

- Code Analysis, System Documentation, and Technical Ownership

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze and reverse-engineer legacy AS400 applications and business logic.

- Manage WebSphere middleware and automated B2B EDI integrations.

- Maintain EDI maps and resolve failed transmissions.

- Support system stability, bug fixes, and performance improvements.

- Integrate legacy systems with modern applications using APIs.

- Document architecture and serve as the primary technical SME.
