The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (e.g., hostlers, cranes, top/side loaders) to move shipping containers within an intermodal yard. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks. • Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure safety and operational readiness. • Coordinate container moves with yard personnel and supervisors. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols. • Perform physically demanding tasks including climbing ladders and stairs. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is required. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. • Willingness to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays, starting at 6:00 PM. • Strong commitment to safety and keen attention to detail. • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and pass background, physical, and drug screenings.
