The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs (KS1-KS5).
• Support referred pupils by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with local authorities and schools to raise the standard of education for vulnerable young people.
• Engage with a child-centred organization committed to reimagining support for those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and 2 professional references.
• Must be based in the UK with the right to work here.
