Calibration Technician | Chattanooga, TN, United States | On-site

The Role

  • Perform quality calibrations across a wide range of disciplines including Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Vibration, Mass, Electrical, Electronics, Time, Frequency, Radio Frequency, Torque, Force, and Dimension.
  • Prepare for on-site calibrations by reviewing equipment lists, procedures, specifications, and selecting appropriate standards.
  • Ensure all necessary calibration materials, work orders, and customer information are prepared and organized for assignments.
  • Maintain company-issued tools and property, ensuring they are in proper working order and calibrated.
  • Complete calibration certificates and associated clerical work in a timely manner, accurately providing all required documentation for quality inspection.
  • Conduct quality inspections of calibrated equipment as per established procedures.

What You'll Need

  • Strong understanding of precision measurement equipment, instrumentation, gages, calibration program management, and measurement principles.
  • Proficiency in gage management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Solid understanding of computer system peripherals and communication configurations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and written/oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivation, initiative, honesty, integrity, and keen attention to detail.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
