Job Description


We are seeking a MacOS Server Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in MacOS server administration, patching, automation, and network configuration and a proven ability to maintain secure, compliant, and reliable MacOS server environments in a data center.


Responsibilities:



  • Manage MacOS Server administration tasks and maintain compliance with security controls and organizational standards.

  • Oversee patching schedules and perform hands-on updates for MacOS servers in a data center environment.

  • Collaborate with the MacSupport Team to execute server management plans and operational procedures.

  • Ensure servers run current OS and security software with scripted automation for software and security updates.

  • Resolve network identification and IP conflicts and administer DHCP and server IP configuration.

  • Package and install software in managed OS environments to ensure secure and efficient server operations.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Extensive experience with MacOS Servers and server administration concepts.

  • Proficiency in MacOS scripting and automation for software patching and security updates.

  • Strong knowledge of DHCP, server IP configuration, and resolution of network identification/IP conflicts.

  • Experience with managed OS environments, software packaging, and installation.

  • Proficient in server configuration and scripting.

  • Knowledge of Workspace One, Tanium, Jamf, and related security profile configuration tools.

  • Knowledge of server virtualization.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a Server Administrator.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.


Preferred Skills:



  • Experience administering hybrid on-site environments within enterprise data centers.

  • Familiarity with iOS device management alongside MacOS ecosystems.

  • Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days on-site. On-site day 1.

  • Start month: August.

  • Interview process: 1-2 video rounds. Glider ID verification required.

  • Approved location: Charlotte, NC. Max 3 submissions per vendor.
