Job Description

Technical Business Analyst
Location: Cambridge Area (Hybrid - 3 days a week)
Salary: 70,000 + Benefits

We're partnering with a well-established consumer products business undergoing an exciting period of digital transformation.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to act as the link between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, helping shape and deliver technology solutions across a complex, multi-site organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong technical understanding, working closely with developers, architects, data teams and business stakeholders.
  • Support the design of systems, integrations, APIs, data flows and technical solutions.
  • Analyse and improve business processes, identifying opportunities for automation and optimisation.
  • Support Agile delivery, testing and UAT throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain clear requirements, process and technical documentation.
  • Ensure solutions are technically feasible, scalable and aligned with business objectives.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within IT, software development or digital transformation.
  • Strong understanding of application development, system integrations and data structures.
  • Experience with APIs, integration requirements and data mapping.
  • Strong requirements gathering, documentation and process modelling skills.
  • Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria and process flows.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working within Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS would be beneficial.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex requirements.
