The Role
- Perform structural analysis and design for a range of waterfront projects, including piers, wharves, bulkheads, dry docks, and graving docks.
- Conduct structural analysis and design using various materials such as concrete, steel, aluminum, and FRP.
- Execute vessel berthing and mooring analyses.
- Undertake field investigations, document findings, and develop comprehensive reports.
- Prepare construction documents, including plans, sections, and details using CADD and BIM platforms.
- Develop detailed reports, cost estimates, and specifications for project deliverables.
What You'll Need
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration or a closely related field.
- Proficiency with structural design and analysis software (e.g., RISA, STAAD, OPTIMOOR).
- Experience with vessel berthing and mooring analyses.
- Familiarity with drafting and modeling software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards (e.g., ASCE, ACI).
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
