Business Analyst

Our client, a reputable financial services provider, is seeking a skilled Business Analyst with 4-6 years' experience to support business, regulatory, and transformation initiatives across Home Lending and Personal Loans portfolios.

In this role, you will work closely with diverse stakeholders including business teams, technology partners, and delivery leads to gather, analyse, and document business requirements. You will facilitate workshops, develop process maps and user stories, and support Agile delivery activities such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and user acceptance testing (UAT). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the end-to-end lending lifecycle, including loan origination, servicing, and customer lifecycle management. Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Gathering and documenting business and functional requirements to support lending initiatives.
• Facilitating stakeholder discussions and workshops to identify business needs and process improvements.
• Developing process documentation, business rules, and user stories.
• Supporting Agile delivery through sprint planning and backlog management.
• Maintaining requirements traceability and aligning solutions with business objectives.
• Participating in project delivery and readiness activities to ensure successful implementation.

Candidate Requirements

• 4-6 years' experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Services focusing on Home Lending and/or Personal Loans.
• Strong process mapping and business analysis skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT or related fields; Business Analysis certification is a plus.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Exposure to merger, acquisition, and portfolio migration projects.
• Knowledge of lending regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting cutover and Day 1 readiness activities.
• Understanding of hardship, collections, and recovery processes.
