Job Description
Ensure overall quality and food safety of products and materials at various stages of production process. Analyze and test product to ensure they meet established quality standards.
Continuously inspect product, plant, employees, and equipment on the manufacturing floor to ensure quality and food safety standards are met.
Sample finished products to assure compliance with customer specifications.
Conduct metal detector checks, blade inspections, etc. Report discrepancies and violations along with solutions to the Quality Assurance Supervisor immediately.
Complete required documentation (quality, food safety and test forms) honestly and accurately.
Works with other departments to implement procedure changes involving raw materials/finished goods to remedy the cause of any non-compliance as quickly as possible.
Employee is required to conduct pre-operational sanitation inspections, operational sanitation inspections.
The duties include regular completion of Quality and Food Safety, CCP and sanitation paperwork that should ultimately result in no FS deviations.
GMP and Sanitation audits are conducted as directed with documented corrective actions and follow-up as necessary.
Maintain KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and score cards to drive continuous improvement.
Advocate and maintain a strong commitment to safety in the operating process.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma/GED or knowledge equivalent to.
Competancy in reading and writing English is required.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Work Processing Software.
Must have the ability to learn to do cut floor QA, Harvest QA and FSQA Auditor positions.
