The Role

• Coordinate and manage the nursing schedule to ensure optimal patient care delivery.
• Identify and propose improvements for the nursing department's staffing effectiveness.
• Advise supervisors on any issues related to the nursing schedule and staffing ratios.
• Ensure compliance of employee and student files with regulatory standards.
• Schedule and communicate educational opportunities for nursing staff.
• Distribute nursing schedules promptly and maintain employee file confidentiality.

What You'll Need

• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in staffing or scheduling within a healthcare/hospital setting is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and clerical skills.
• Ability to draft professional communications.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance.
• Capacity to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
