Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join a Salesforce-based CRM
delivery team supporting a large financial services client. This role sits at the intersection
of technical delivery and agile program execution — owning the software delivery lifecycle
for Salesforce features and enhancements, coordinating scrum teams, and ensuring
smooth, predictable releases. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable running agile
ceremonies as they are discussing Salesforce architecture with technical leads.
Key Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end technical delivery for Salesforce CRM initiatives, from feature intake
and refinement through development, testing, and release
Manage and support multiple scrum teams — facilitating sprint planning, backlog
grooming, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
Drive Program Increment (PI) planning sessions and manage cross-team
dependencies, risks, and timelines
Partner with engineering and support teams to manage the full SDLC for features
moving beyond initial (L3) triage, ensuring clean handoffs and delivery
accountability
Track and report on delivery status, velocity, risks, and blockers to technical leads
and business stakeholders
Maintain accurate, well-organized project artifacts in Jira and Confluence (epics,
stories, roadmaps, release notes, dependency maps)
Collaborate with Salesforce architects, developers, and QA to ensure delivery aligns
with platform best practices and release governance
Identify and manage cross-functional dependencies, scope changes, and delivery
risks proactively
Support release management and deployment coordination across Salesforce
environments (sandbox through production)
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or Scrum Master delivering
software on the Salesforce platform
Strong working knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem, architecture, and release
cycles
Salesforce advanced certification required — one or more of the following:
Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
Salesforce Certified Application Architect
Salesforce Certified System Architect
Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
Proven experience managing scrum teams and running full agile ceremonies
Hands-on experience with PI (Program Increment) Planning, ideally within a
SAFe or scaled agile environment
Advanced proficiency with Jira and Confluence for backlog, roadmap, and
documentation management
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and
release/change management processes
Excellent stakeholder communication skills; able to translate technical detail for both
technical and business audiences
