Job Title: Technical Designer

Location: Boca Raton, FL or Las Vegas, NV

Duration: Full-Time (FTE, Direct Hire)

Schedule: Onsite Role (All 5-Days)

Job Description:

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Asset Creation & Optimization: Design and implement optimized 2D/3D assets, UI elements, game components, animations, and visual effects for real-time performance.

• Technical Implementation: Translate creative concepts into functional, production-ready assets that integrate seamlessly into the live game environment.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with developers to ensure designs are technically achievable, performant, and aligned with creative intent.

• Iteration & Problem Solving: Iterate rapidly based on feedback, gameplay needs, and technical constraints to solve live product challenges.

Required Skills (Must-Haves):

• Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Spine (2D animation).

• Pipeline & Engine Knowledge: Proven experience with real-time asset pipelines (2D/3D) and a solid understanding of how assets function inside game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal).

• Technical Optimization: Ability to build highly optimized, performance-ready assets that work within technical constraints.

• Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap and collaborate effectively across design and development teams.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves):

• Industry Experience: Prior experience in mobile gaming or slot games.

• Advanced Visuals: Ability to custom-build your own effects (VFX, particles, and animations).

• Technical/Coding Skills: Familiarity with HTML/CSS or scripting.

• Modern Workflows: Exposure to AI-assisted creative tools.
