Technical Recruiter

Position:Technical Recruiter Location: Remote (Must be physically located in the San Francisco Bay Area) Note: Remote; Must be based in SFO and travel to client locations as needed.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a high-energy, dual-threat Technical Recruiter & Account Manager to join our team. This is a fully remote position, but we are strictly looking for a resource physically based in the Bay Area. Because you will be managing and expanding relationships with our local, cutting-edge tech clients, you must be in the same time zone and geography to easily align with their schedules and occasionally meet stakeholders in person.
In this role, you will not just find elite technical talent; you will serve as the primary strategic partner for our clients, bridging the gap between technical sourcing and high-impact client engagement. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills, a proven track record of managing client accounts, and a habit of proactively driving strategic meetings with client stakeholders. Additionally, a deep, practical understanding of the AI/Machine Learning ecosystem is required to effectively source specialized talent and consult intelligently with tech clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Management & Local Client Engagement
* Strategic Client Partnership: Act as the main point of contact for key local accounts, building trust-based relationships with Engineering Managers, Directors, and VPs.
* Proactive Engagement: Anticipate client hiring bottlenecks and proactively schedule syncs, intake calls, and calibration meetings to keep the hiring pipeline moving efficiently.
* Local Market Alignment: Use your proximity to the Bay Area tech ecosystem to understand local market realities, competitor movements, and networking opportunities.
2. Technical Recruiting & AI Domain Expertise
* Full-Cycle AI Sourcing: Strategy development, sourcing, screening, and closing top-tier technical talent, with a heavy focus on AI, Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, NLP, and Data Science roles.
* Technical Literacy: Speak the language of AI engineering. Assess candidate proficiency in core AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), LLM fine-tuning, and infrastructure scale.
3. Elite Communication & Relationship Building
* High-Touch Communication: Deliver regular, transparent, and data-driven pipeline updates to clients, ensuring they feel supported despite the remote setup.
* Candidate Experience: Maintain exceptional verbal and written communication with candidates, representing the client's employer brand with absolute professionalism.

Role Requirements
* Location Constraints: Must currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area. While the day-to-day work is remote, local geographical presence is mandatory to seamlessly engage with our local client base.
* Experience: 10+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally within an agency environment or high-growth startup where you handled both sourcing and client management (360-degree model).
* AI/Tech Knowledge: Demonstrated success hiring for AI/ML teams. You should confidently understand the difference between data engineering, ML modeling, and AI application development.
* Client Skills: Proven experience in formal Account Management, showing a track record of retaining and growing client accounts through high-value engagement.
* Proactive Mindset: A self-starter attitude with a reputation for initiating client meetings and driving hiring agendas rather than waiting for instructions.
