Job Description

SAP BPC consultants are responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Business Planning and Consolidation solutions for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidations. The role requires strong functional knowledge of finance processes, expertise in SAP BPC (Embedded), and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver effective planning and reporting solutions.

Job Description:

·         Work closely with finance stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation.

·         Design and configure SAP BPC (Embedded/BW4) including models, dimensions, business rules, script logic, DM packages, process flows, and reporting templates.

·         Build planning models, stories, analytic applications, data actions, allocations, and predictive forecasting in SAP Analytics Cloud.

·         Integrate SAP BPC with SAC using live or import connections and ensure consistent data flow across planning systems.

·         Develop custom logic using ABAP/BADI, script logic, and advanced formulas where needed for complex planning requirements.

·         Create BPC and SAC reports, dashboards, and input templates with strong focus on usability, accuracy, and performance.

·         Troubleshoot system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize data loads, processes, and model performance.

·         Support financial close processes (monthly, quarterly, annual) and provide guidance to business teams on system usage.

·         Prepare technical and functional design documentation, test scripts, and training materials.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams (BW, FI/CO, S/4HANA) to ensure seamless integration across systems.

·         Participate in end-to-end project phases including blueprinting, development, testing, migration, go-live, and hyper care.

Required Skills:

·         Strong techno-functional experience in SAP BPC (Embedded).

·         Hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning—models, stories, data actions, allocations, and advanced formulas.

·         Deep understanding of financial processes: planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and consolidations.

·         Knowledge of SAP BW data modeling and integration concepts.

·         Experience customizing script logic, BADI, DM packages, and EPM reports.

·         Proficiency in SAC reporting, visualizations, and dashboarding.

·         Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
