Job Title: ON-SITE - IIBA Certified Business Analyst - HBITS-08-15029

Location:  Albany, NY 12203

Duration: Long-term (30) 

Job Description:  

  • 84 months experience eliciting then analyzing the stakeholder’s business needs using a variety of analysis techniques and converting those into verified and validated functional and non-functional requirements for development including but not limited to eliciting functional requirements, non-functional requirements, report requirements, and business rules.

  • 84 months experience in creating and maintaining software development artifacts for communication of requirements, including end user documentation, specifically business cases, business requirements documents (BRDs), use cases, report mockups, wire frames, and flow diagrams. In addition, context diagrams, textual use cases, swim lane diagrams, report specifications, wireframes, user interface specifications, and non-functional requirements specification.

  • 84 months experience facilitating requirement workshops, such as, JAD sessions and structured walkthroughs.

  • 72 months experience managing requirements throughout the requirements management lifecycle, including creation and execution of a requirements management plan, requirements traceability matrix, establishing requirements baselines and managing requirements change control.

  • 60 months experience creating test plans and test cases and working with users on User Acceptance Testing

  • 36 Months Experience eliciting requirements for Learning Management System projects and implementation of those requirements

  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business intelligence, information science, criminal justice, health science, computer science, mathematics, or public/business administration.

Detailed Job Description: Expert Business Analyst, who will work with agency unit stakeholders to document and understand existing business processes, specifically in relationship to defining requirments of a Learning Management System (LMS). This role will also define To-Be requirements and processes to support the design and development of new applications in alignment with agency's technology roadmap that may feed or be fed by LMS data and processes.
