Job Title: Water Hygiene EngineerLocation: Potters Bar, HertfordshireSalary/Benefits: £27k - £36k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a multi-disciplined Compliance / Safety specialist, with a nationwide presence. They have recently won new water hygiene / legionella contracts in the South East, and require a knowledgeable and experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their growing team. You will be servicing a diverse range of commercial and public sector contracts, to conduct full ACOP L8 compliance tasks. Candidates must be comfortable working independently on site regularly, and will be well-versed in industry guidelines. Salaries on offer are attractive, and benefits include: company vehicle, overtime and fuel card.We can consider candidates from the following locations: Potters Bar, St Albans, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, Watford, Cheshunt, Harlow, Epping, Chigwell, Harrow, Wembley, Enfield, High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Slough, Windford, Aylesbury, Luton, Milton Keynes, Hitchin, Leighton Buzzard, Southall, Bracknell, Bletchley, Biggleswade, Royston, Buckingham.
Experience / Qualifications:-Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit-Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines-Able to work within teams and independently on projects-Hardworking attitude-Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills-Adaptable to changing travel needs
The Role:-Conducting a range of pre-planned Water Hygiene maintenance duties-Showerhead descales-TMV servicing and maintenance-Inspecting tanks-Cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks-Water sampling-Temperature monitoring-Keeping accurate records of completed works-Representing the company in a professional manner
