Job Description

Role: Data Architect

Location: Grand Rapids, MI (Onsite)

Duration: Full Time (Permanent)

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Enterprise Data Architecture and Data Modeling
  • Azure Data Platform (ADF, Databricks, ADLS, Synapse)
  • Data Warehousing, Data Lake, and ETL/ELT Architecture
  • Python, SQL, PySpark
  • Data Governance, Data Quality, and Metadata Management
  • Cloud Architecture and Security Best Practices
  • Azure DevOps and CI/CD
  • Solution Design and Stakeholder Management
  • Terraform and IaC (Infrastructure as Code)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Define enterprise data architecture, standards, and best practices.
  • Design scalable data models, data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines.
  • Lead data strategy, governance, security, and quality initiatives.
  • Provide architecture guidance for Azure-based data platforms and analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and solution architects.
  • Drive performance optimization, scalability, and data modernization programs.
