The Role
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, creating a welcoming and positive experience.
• Originate new accounts for both commercial and consumer clients, recommending appropriate bank products and services based on needs.
• Perform all teller duties, including handling various customer transactions and managing a cash drawer with accuracy.
• Provide exceptional customer service via phone and in-person, resolving inquiries and acting as a liaison between customers and other bank departments.
• Support branch operations, including opening and closing procedures, while adhering to all security protocols.
• Actively participate in training to enhance job knowledge and acquire new skills.
What You'll Need
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a business-related field or two years of related experience is preferred.
• Proven experience in customer service roles, with a strong ability to cross-sell products and services.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Strong math, problem-solving, organizational, and detail-oriented skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Proficiency in using standard office equipment and computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
• Thorough knowledge of banking operations, products, services, laws, and regulations.
