Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to define and guide the overall technical and application architecture for an enterprise grievance tracking solution.

Preferred Certifications

• AWS, Azure, or another recognized cloud certification.

• TOGAF or an equivalent enterprise architecture certification

Key Responsibilities

• Define the overall application and technical architecture for the grievance tracking solution.

• Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical architecture and solution designs.

• Design scalable and maintainable enterprise web applications and workflow-based systems.

• Develop and maintain application architecture diagrams, application component designs, data models, integration designs, data-flow diagrams, and technical specifications.

• Define application, database, security, role-based access, audit, logging, and deployment requirements.

• Design application components supporting scalability, maintainability, performance, security, and reliability.

• Design and review integrations using REST APIs and other enterprise integration technologies.

• Establish application security requirements covering authentication, authorization, RBAC, data protection, and audit logging.

• Work with development teams to establish coding, configuration, security, testing, and deployment standards.

• Review technical designs and development work to ensure alignment with the approved architecture.

• Participate in architecture and technical design reviews.

• Support security reviews and production-readiness activities.

• Evaluate technical issues identified during development, testing, and deployment and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Work with development and infrastructure teams to support application deployment across cloud and/or on-premises environments.

• Support CI/CD practices and automated application deployment.

• Collaborate with database teams on database architecture, data modeling, SQL development, and application data requirements.

• Support application testing, implementation, production deployment, and post-deployment troubleshooting.

• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to agency technical personnel.

• Prepare and maintain technical architecture and solution documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

• 8+ years of experience in software architecture and application development.

• Demonstrated experience designing enterprise web applications.

• Experience designing workflow-based applications and business process solutions.

• Strong experience with application architecture and technical solution design.

• Experience with database design and SQL.

• Experience designing secure applications with RBAC, authentication, authorization, audit logging, and application security.

• Experience translating business requirements into technical architecture and detailed designs.

• Experience supporting application implementation through development, testing, and production deployment.

• Experience creating architecture diagrams, technical specifications, application component designs, and data models.

• Strong experience collaborating with software development and infrastructure teams.
