Leicester

£30,000 - £40,000 plus uncapped commission (Yr 1 OTE £60,000)

The Role

The Energy Consultant will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and developing strong relationships with prospective clients. This role is ideal for a commercially driven individual who thrives in a sales-led environment and is keen to make a tangible impact within the utilities sector.

The successful candidate will focus on lead generation, client engagement, and converting prospects into long-term customers while contributing to overall team performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities through research and outreach
  • Conducting outbound sales calls and following up warm and cold leads
  • Presenting utilities products and services clearly, highlighting benefits and value
  • Maintaining accurate sales activity and client records within CRM systems
  • Collaborating with the wider sales team to implement effective strategies
  • Consistently achieving monthly sales targets and contributing to team success

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a sales role (utilities sector desirable, not essential)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
